This journal primarily documents my parent's experiences with the Apple iPad. They are currently retired and have lived happy lives without computers, cellphones or the internet. Until now.
Unlike Reeder or Feedler, I forget which one exactly, it doesn't sync with the Google Reader, which may be a problem for some, but since it makes searching easy, that might be mitigated
I played with the Pulse Reader for a few hours and here are my first impressions: * it's very customizable in terms of organizing the feeds * the interface is well designed * The Big Picture blog didn't display the opening photograph is the correct aspect ratio and the app crashed when I went to view the full article (bug-report filed via the feedback link).
Can I see myself using this app to read my feeds? Not if I have to manually input all my Google Reader feeds. I would consider it if there was an easy way to import my current feeds.
But is it any good?
